Using Smooth-On's exclusive "V-Polymer" technology, VytaFlex® urethane rubbers offer superior physical and performance properties. VytaFlex® urethanes feature convenient one-to-one by volume mix ratios. Vacuum degassing is not necessary and VytaFlex® rubbers cure with negligible shrinkage to a durable rubber that will last in production. VytaFlex® mold rubbers are used for a variety of applications including making molds to reproduce sculpture and architectural elements, as well as for making special effects, toys and prototypes. Vibrant colors can be achieved by adding So-Strong® Color Tints, available from Smooth-On.
VytaFlex® mold rubbers work especially well for casting pigmented / colored concrete. Molds made with VytaFlex® Series urethanes will render accurate and uniform colored castings.Durometer: 10A, 20A, 30A, 40A, 50A, & 60A(2A to1B by Volume)
ReoFlex® urethane rubbers are "next generation" products to our popular PMC-121® Series and offer superior physical and performance properties. ReoFlex® urethanes feature convenient one-to-one by volume mix ratios. Vacuum degassing is not necessary and ReoFlex® rubbers cure with negligible shrinkage to a durable rubber that will last in production. ReoFlex® mold rubbers are used for a variety of applications including making molds to reproduce sculpture and architectural elements, as well as for making special effects, toys and prototypes. These rubbers will meet the stringent demands of production casting of wax, plasters, concrete and resins.
Durometer: 20A, 30A, 40A, 50A, & 60A

Used by artists and industry the world over for a variety of design and casting applications, PMC-724 is by far the most versatile flexible mold compound available. It mixes and pours easily, curing to a durable rubber with negligible shrinkage. PMC-724 PUTS YOU IN CONTROL!
Using optional Part D, you can vary the thickness of PMC-724 for vertical surface brush-on applications. If you like to work with a more flexible rubber, Part C is available to soften PMC-724 to lower durometers. A variety of colors and special effects can be achieved by adding color pigments, and for added project dimension, you can foam PMC-724.

PMC-744 is a time tested rubber that has good heat, chemical and abrasion resistance. It is used to cast a range of materials including wax, harder plasters, concrete and resins. Molds are exceptionally strong, abrasion resistant and dimensionally stable. PMC-744 is also used for masking rubber mechanical parts for different applications

PMC-121/30 | Soft, flexible - Dry, no oil release | ||
PMC-121/50 | Medium hardness - exudes oil release |
Novice and master mold makers alike know the 1-2-1 series as the liquid compounds that are easy to mix (1A to 1B by volume--scale not required) and easy to pour. The PMC-121 series addresses a variety of applications from mold making (for restoration, concrete casting, sculpture, etc.) to special effects. Available as a DRY rubber or with extra lubricity for long mold life when casting plasters and concrete.

For those flexible mold applications that require a relatively hard rubber, PMC-860 offers strength, durability and wear resistance for repeated production use. PMC-860 is well suited for production casting of concrete and hard plasters. Good dimensional stability makes this product ideal for ceramic case molds.

PMC-870 is used for applications where extra rigidity is required. 870 also has exceptional abrasion resistance and is used to make molds for casting concrete. Because it is wear resistant and easily pigmented, PMC-870 used by zoos and museums for a variety of display/exhibit applications (vines, trees, etc.).

|
PMC-780 has become a standard among concrete casters because of its high tear strength and abrasion resistance. 780 is often used to make concrete stamping molds and mold liners. Because it is tough and durable, industrial users and the military also find PMC-780 ideal for rubber to metal bonding, making rubber mechanical parts and industrial rollers.

PMC-790 was designed to meet the most stringent requirements of industrial application. It is a very hard rubber that offers superior tear strength, tensile strength, impact and abrasion resistance. Because it is slightly harder than our 780, 790 is often used to make concrete stamping molds. It is also used to make ball liners, foundry patterns and metal forming pads. You can't get a tougher rubber anywhere!

Brush-On 40 is the latest addition to our brush-on line. It holds vertical and inverted surfaces like no other mold rubber, making it ideal for molds of 3-D models. Brush-On 40 is soft & pliable enough for reproducing sculpture, yet has superior physical properties (high tear strength & abrasion resistance) to stand up to production casting of concrete - good for making "glove" molds.
Brush-On 50 is harder and stiffer, and also offers high tear strength and abrasion resistance for casting concrete.
Brush-On 60 is even harder and stiffer, and also offers high tear strength and abrasion resistance for casting concrete.
Easy - Mix offers a more convenient liquid to liquid system for easier mixing - lower physical properties than Brush-On 40 and 50.
Easy - Spray 45 Similar to Easy-Mix 45, in a sprayable form.
