Epoxy Casting Compounds

Smooth-On Epoxy Casting Compounds are suitable for a variety of industrial applications.

Epoxy Compounds are harder than our urethane plastics and offer superior resistance to impact, abrasion and heat distortion.

Used in conjunction with an appropriate hardener (Sonite 01, 03, 07, 08, 11, 16), different properties are attainable.

  • A - 3 Aluminum Filled Heavily filled to improve heat transfer and provide good machinability.

  • A - 30 Aluminum Filled Non-settling, low viscosity with low overall shrinkage.

  • #20-136 Mineral Filled Superior heat resistance, low viscosity, readily degasses itself. Can be used as a high temperature epoxy adhesive. (Resists temperatures up to 350 F / 177 C)
